Some places I've played
I've been entertaining audiences since Elvis was skinny.  Started as a
drummer (Rock and smooth jazz) and figured out that guitars were easier
to carry.  I also suspected that girls liked guitar players better.  Oh well,
the guitar is DEFINITELY lighter.  One out of two aint bad.

I sing, and play classical guitar with some harmonica fills.  On some jobs I
bring my weapons of mass percussion (see the clip below) and, when the
occasion fits, my trio,   the Vagabonds.

I love music that seems to be about something, so I play a lot of tunes by
legends like Leadbelly, Robert Johnson, and Jimmy Reed with the accent
on the blues, but I love the standards by Gershwin, Cole Porter...you know,
Sinatra stuff.  And my play list includes a bunch of Scottish, Irish, and
tunes from the colonies (you know.....here).  Covers or originals.

And I'm a writer and an actor.  I've done a couple of one man plays (and a
bunch with a cast) and written lots of songs.  My most recent show is
ROOTS OF ROCK AND ROLL, a  look at the 1954 Sun Record sessions in
Memphis when the white kid from Tupelo sang black music and changed
the world of entertainment forever.  It's available for festivals, schools,
libraries, whatever.  Call for references.

Hope to hear from you.   Peace.
